4.88's + 35" tires + .75 top gear (this is the 91-01 AW4 Top ratio) = 2284 rpm @ 65mph. Which is 100 rpm over stock. Also 2987rpm @ 85mph.
*Calculated it with the calculator on randys ring and pinion.
In my opinion thats a good gearing.

That helps EXCEPT, the AW-4 has a final drive ratio of .75-1 not 1-1. The calculations I put up are what dan would actually see on the road.

i am willing to sacrifice some road driving for the ability to put it in 4low and not be able to stop the jeep because the motor at idle will over power the brakes. its such an awesome feeling. with that said, while the 44 is out of the jeep, i would strongly suggest swaping in some disc brakes.
