the best thing anyone could do if they dont want to lift it, is to put 22" rims on it, lower it, and tint your windshield ;D
or you can just put stickers on it, they usually help gas milage!
just kidding!
I do think armor is pretty important, even if you have a lifted jeep! rockers, steering box skid (i said box!) gas tank skid, the Nth degree tummy tucker is niceness, but dont you need to do other stuff to make it work besides a 1" bl? Don't you need a sye and a mml too?
I like the 33 engineering one, since it has a separate mount for the tcase, that way you can take the skid off, without having to support the tcase, not sure if the nth degree one does that too...

you are right, i believe the Nth degree also does require a MML but any flat skid will require a sye/cv shaft unless you want horrible vibs.

Lets seeeeee...If I weren’t going to lift at all...including tires...I would:
1. get all the armor I could under the JP that doesn't lose clearance.
2. Maybe a bolt-in cage so I could at least put the windshield down.
3. Make sure I'm at the end of the line on the trails.
4. And before each trip, I would . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Put lots and lots of butter under the JP before I go Off-Road! ;D

3. Make sure I'm at the end of the line on the trails. NO NO NO.. Near the front before the reail get all rutted up from the guys on 33's and 35's! But the funny thing is Neal always ends up in the rear anyways! He hasn't lifted cause I don't think he sees the need to If you have ever been off road with Neal and have the ability to watch his facial expressions, even when he is having a tough go at it, he smile like no one else, I mean grin ear to ear! Back in april down in Paragon, he mashed up his oil pan real bad, and was leaking pretty bad, we threw some RTV silicone on it, and back to beating up the jeep! as far as I know he has yet to replace the oil pan! So if he is extremely content with the abilities of his vehicle, likes the challenge and the bragging right (ya I made it, and am stock) then why change it! all in all looking at this post, A little Armor should be put into use and some disco's! Then I would say a Body Lift of maybe a inch just to put in a motor lift! and yes some type of tummy tucker (would also make my own, just some flat stock steel!

Okay, I didn't take this thread that serious. My thoughts on this are very simple. If he’s happy, so be it. Any advice I would give anyone is to wheel it and figure out what you need/want in your rig. Some people love the challenge of wheeling stock. I can not argue with that. I like the challenge but at least 50 % of the fun for me is working on my JP. So, I say leave it alone. Roger.
