the gas gauge in our truck is busted, you have to keep track of the milage by the odometer. my mom ran out of gas on tuesday. i like how the jeep gives me a 4 gallon warning.

The light comes on with a couple gallons left. If it came on when the tank was empty you'd be f****.

its normal! the gas light comes on alot earlier than they used to! I have an 03, same deal. however, I have run my jeep with the gas light on for a couple days, and managed to put 18.5 gallons in once!

I am not being cheap, I just drive it until my gas light comes on, then fill up at my next convenience. I just don't see the point of continuously putting $10 worth of gas in every day or so just to keep the light from coming on. Thats 3-4 less trips to the pump per tank that I take!

are we really taking about how we fill up are jeeps?
I do it like slab42 does it. I hate going to the gas station.
