also one more question. do you know if the mounts on the 44 are welded or cast?

it does not have the cast radius arms, the ones that were bolted on were removed...i think this is what you are talking about

what he means is are those diamond parts that the radius arms mount to made of cast steel or are they welded?
if theyre cast, the axle tube doesnt go completely thru the mount...undesirable

kaiser- thats what i was talking about. the axle can still be used but it just takes more work

i looked at it real quick today, didnt realize what you were talking about at first, and ill prob have to clean it off some to determine if thos brackets are welded or cast, i couldnt really tell just be glancing at it
*i looked closer and they are def the cast ones, if you know how to weld to cast correctly it shouldnt be an issue

its def the cast, i think the welded ones only came on the ealier years. Ill be around in Worcester till 330ish if you wanna come check it out
