Rumor of a Jeep Partnership

As far as I know Jeep has never shared a vehicle platform with any other automaker. Rumor has it that Dodge will be using the Liberty for a new Compact Sport-Ute. Supposedly it will have new sheet metal and typical Dodge styling cues but be all Liberty underneath.

I have heard of a similar rumor, but what I heard was that they are going to recycle the libby's drive train and all except the rearend, it will become a independent rear suspension set up (IRS)
