How thick are the OEM spring isolators in a TJ? I see a lot of different spacer kits that say they are 1 3/4" thick. Then they go on to say that if you use your factory spring isolators you'll have 2" of lift. So if I have the isolators in now then add the 1 3/4" spacer then I will get 1 3/4' of lift. If I don't use the factory Isolators then I will get about 1 1/2" of lift? Am I correct in my thinking? What kind of condition will the factory isolators be in when I remove the springs?

The new spacers/isolators are 2". The stock ones are 1/4".
So, if you remove the stock and replace with the 2" unit, you will get a 1-3/4" lift.
If you keep the stock in place and add the 2", you will get 2" of lift.

you shouldnt take out the factory one, just add to it with another spacer
factory isolators have some sort of metal ring in them that doesnt allow the spring to dig into it, thats why when you do a budget boost, or spacer for more height you should put the spacer above the factory one
