correction (myself) newports,fury's are "c" body's "e"body"s are 1970-up cuda's & challengers
the bellhousing from a t176 bolts directly to a T18(6.32). np435(6.70) & scout T19(6.32)which has a dana 300 with no adapter(just the scout) there's one for sale in NEOW

rich.........a scout 44 front is almost a bolt in....the perch widths are very close.the problem arises from the fact that all scout 44 fronts except 1 year were built with ZERO caster.to handle safely your jeep needs 5 to 7 degrees....that means cuttting the welds and rotating the knuckles(plus scout 44's have thinner tubes).your better off with a 80's waggy 44 front if you want drivers side drop or a chevy 44 cut 4 inchs on the long side for passenger side.i'll tell ya a lil secret....if you can find em,an early(pre 1976) bronco front works well in a drivers side drop and usually will have low gears.just cut off the coil spring mounting and weld on your perchs.

Yea i'm defintely going passenger side. And i'm not using a 44 front just a dana 30 passengerside. Some may think i should just do 44's front and rear which is still may do IF i come across a front axle for real cheap. no more than 100 bucks. I have a connection who has alot of scouts (15 of them to be exact)...most have 44's. I can never get a hold of him for a front one plus i'm lazy don't wanna bring my torches up there and s***. So a dana 30 will have to do....all i want is hubs really...and i got like 5 dana 30's so if i break one i'm set.

i still have a dana 30 but warn shafts and CTM u-joints with 36"swampers, 1st time with stock axles and 36"s=15 minutes and broken u jointand inner and outer shafts(1st gear at idle) mabey 500RPM,im going on my third season with that set up. my 44 will be ready soon

well a stock YJ dana 30 sucks. a CJ dana 30 is good. vac disconnect = weak

all the plymouth "e" body's (newport's, fury"s) ran a corp 8 3/4", 9 1/4" and very rare 1970 hurst chyrsler 300 with the 440 six-pac and hemi ran the9 3/4" (dana 60) p,s im a huge mopar nut E body is the Cuda , Challenger
