Honestly I have searched...
I am thinking that most are born with this knowledge, but I was thrown on my head as a kid, not droped ;D
I am guessing that BB = Budget Boost? and that BL = Budget Lift?
If I am right, I still have a question..
What exactly are we talking about? I understand that it has to do with lifting your jeep.. cheaply? but other than that I am clueless
Anyone care to school me on this?

A bb or budget boost is a set of coil spacers you put ontop of your stock springs to give you an extra inch or two of lift. Most kits usually come with longer shocks too.
A BL is a body lift. It lifts your body off the frame to give you more clearance.

Essentially they are the same. Both are very effective ways to increase the ride height of the vehicle to install a larger tire. Essentially what is needed (and I will use a TJ's Suspension as a example) you get spacers for the front and rear springs. what the spacers do is sit between the top spring bucket and the spring itself, lifting the vehicle the height of the spacer. (2" spacer for 2" lift) usually needed but rarly included is the shocks, for regular street driving, no replacement will be needed, but if you go off road, you will most likely need shock designed for 2 extra inches of travel.
Now the down side of the spacer method as opposed to a accual 2" lift spring.. generally the BB will not address the issue of the trac bars, so one axle will sit slightly off center to one side, and the other axle to the other side. not really noticable unless you know what you are looking for. also, BB do not increase, or improve the flexability or the ride quality (ussuming you have a 97 TJ with 100K miles) of the vehicle The axles will not flex any more than they did when at stock height cause the size of the spring is still the same.
If your jeep is a Daily driver, and used off road a couple times a year, a BB is a great way to get a larger tire on to a jeep and increase you ride height, and ground clearence.

Thanks for clearing all that up for me! When I hear the term body lift I associate that with something thats hard to do... Is that true? Also does a BB increase the wear-and-tear of a stock suspension? (I have to do my suspension soon, I would like to get a 4" super duper flexi-poo lift, but I dont have the money . So I am trying to do this on my budget, and stock suspension parts seem to be an easy find on these forums!)

no more wear and tear than if stock, might ride a little better cause you will replace your old shocks with new ones. you might get a little driveline vibe from teh drive shaft angle, one of two ways to solve that, either get adjustable upper control arms and move your pinion angle slightly (more expensive but more effective) or a simple T case drop can be installed. I think the SYE is a little much for your budget if you are considering a BB to begin with.
