My rear track bar bracket doesn't look very happy, so I was thinking about upgrading to the bolt-on 4 link RK conversion.
I know at least a few of you are running this kit.
How's it holding up? How quickly are the bushings wearing?
If you did the bolt-on, how do you like it?
How did the 4-link change the handling of the jeep?

i wouldnt get the bolt on, go with the weld on one. the bolt on is sandwiched in between the diff cover and the pumkin, inevitably it will leak. as for the bushings, the top are poly (that attach to the stock upper control arm mounts, and the ones that attach to the axle are heims, which seem to be holding up ok, however their other joints on their long arms are not perfect. if you plan on going to long arms, you might want to hold up and go with their X-Factor long arm setup and get it all at once, a little more expensive but cheaper in the long run. the 4 link is good, but i think the X-factor 4 link is better, it uses 4 long arms, as opposed to 2 shorter ones in the plain 4 link setup.

Matt (Spyder) runs the bolt on and has had problems with diff leaking. I have the weld on. It fits well and does the job. The control arm bushings are holding up well so far. If you run it with a belly up skid you will definitely want the weld on and tilt it slightly forward so pinion can be set right without the truss hitting the gas tank. As far as flex, I don't think it flexes that much better in the rear than any other kit but you don't get any track bar binding and popping, which is nice. Handling is a little different, but not in a bad way. Hard to explain. I also went with 4" lift longarms and Antirock at the same time, so hard to pinpoint if t*** the front, rear, Antirock or the whole package. sean

DO NOT GET THE BOLT ON, spend the extra 50 on the weld in cradle, its very worth while. every time i change my diff fluid, i have to make a new seal around the bottom of the diff. its a huge pain in the butt.
but other than that i love my setup. i have had it for about a year and it has heald up great.

Well,
I really didn't want to get the bolt on, because I may end up going long arm in a few years. I would most likely NOT do a RK kit then.
Thanks for the advice. I may just end up buying that TCG Track Bar Support bracket to help beef up the stock bracket a bit.
