OK, I just opened my instructions for my lock-rite locker. Between poor instruction manual and pictures, and lack of experiance with axles, I decided this is out of my league. Is there anyone that is familiar with installing a lock rite that would be willing to help? Or anyone know if a shop that would let me watch/help? I also have a set of 4.56 gears that could be installed at the same time, but I'm not in a hurry to those. I just want my locker in for now.

I am not sure what jeep/model you have but I got this from a Google search. Just look around. Then you can decide if you can do it. www.keystonekrawlers.com/Mods/Jeep/LockerInstall/LockerInstall.htmGood luck. Roger.

Thanks, I just found, "a friend who has a friend who..." anyway I found a guy that will help me with the install, and is very familiar with Dana axles, so I think I'll go that route.

If you can take the axle out of the truck, Montose Machine in Wakefield will do it for dirt cheap money!
If not...
East coast auto works in Wilminton, FNA transmission in wakeield (little pricy though)

what axle is it going in...front or rear? i have installed 2 now in the front and they are very easy. the only problems i ran into on either install was breaking ring and pinion bolts.
