Why does adam feel the need to use his distributor as a motor mount? I dont feel that it works well.
And does anyone know a good way to get the 3 snapped ends of bolts out of his engine block?

i have never had luck with easy outs actually working, and besides, the sheared bolts are in the engine block, and gettting a drill in there looks be be next to impossible without either A)removing the entire motor or b)trying to unbol the transmission crossmember, the other motormount, the driveshafts, and trying to finesse the motor lower
only thing with that is that it is resting on the distributor right now, so going lower might be difficult

not staying until 2 at a shop in the middle of the night, and then maybe ill let u back in and fix these !

yeah that idea was thrown around last night at around 130, upon thinking about it logically, makes a lot more sense to try to remove the bolts that are in there

adam, i IM'ed you, but maybe someone can validate my question here. What about taking a smaller size bolt, cutting it down to just the hex head and a tiny bit of bolt (half inch or so) then spot welding that to the original bolt that still left threaded into your engine. Then once it's spot welded on there, you could get a socket on there and back out the remains of the motor mount bolt.
just an idea, but depending on how big the original motor mount bolt is, you may be able to pull it off. I'm guessing those bolts are decently large.
you could even spot weld a socket to it ...
just make sure you dont melt the threads or your Fubared.
OR, since weld doesn't stick to copper tubing, put a coppyer tube on the end of the leftover motor mount bolt, and then fill the inside of the copper tube with weld., it will weld to the bolt and kind of make it longer.. then slip the copper tubing off and you'll have a stud. Then weld a hex head to that stud and slowly crank the bolt out.
just kinda thinking of stuff as i go here.. sorry if it makes no sense. maybe i'll draw a picture of my ideas and post that.
