I have a quick question, is a motor mount lift as effective as a transfer case drop in eliminating vibrations? Im hoping to swap my tcase drop with my mml.

Hmmm...in theory they both change the angle of the engine and transmission/TC so its possible they could be used interchangably, the only diff i can see is that dropping the TC would give you more "yoke" on the output shaft...

i still have vibes with just the tcase drop so ive been planning on swapping the tc drop with the mml and installing some RE upper adjustable control arms. Hopefully itll work

You would think they would achieve the same thing. I know after my 4 inch lift, the tcase drop helped get rid of the vibes but didnt eleminate them. Although I dont have any expericne with a mml i would suspect its the same.
You are sitting at over 4 inches of lift, once you do the sye its like night and day. Id just start saving up for it, you wont regret it. Probably the best spent 500 bucks on my jeep.

I say get the SYE and the MML. Lose the TC drop. you get a little more clearance for your oil pan, more clearance for the skidplate and no vibes.

do you have a BL?? either way i would ditch the t-case drop and do an sye. you will never elimate all the vibs without doing it. not to mention the sye will regain the ground clearance you are loosing with the t-case drop.

I was really close to buying an SYE and shaft, but i figured ill see if Upper adjustable control arms and a MML would cure the vibes. From what i hear it wont, but its worth a try isnt it?

I did the SYE with my RE3.5 and don't have any vibes. I also installed the required rear upper control arms which are a PITA to get adjusted so that the trackbar doesn't hit the gas tank skid . It still hits a little bit so for now I'm looking for an adjustable TB and possibly some adjustable lowers to see if I can eliminate the problem completely.

SYE is the only way to fly... increased out put shaft strength, better drive angle, less wear and tear on the u-joints..
I used to replace u-joints every 3-4 months, since the SYE has been put in I have changed them once in 3 years, and that is only cause I pulled the shaft to put a new clutch in and I figured I might as well change them since they were out.. and that was still 2 years ago.
