tried replacing a bulb with a resistor once... BAD IDEA! the resistor heats up, and burns. and dont the LEDs draw less current because they have less resistance? so using relays to give them more power would not work, right? I have never done this mod, so i am more than likely talking out my arse! just throwing my .02 cents in! I swear I am not trying... Sorry, goota disagree here. I have used Resistors for lots of different applications and they will work. Getting the correct one may or may not be easy but none the less, it will work. Roger. i plan on getting a side marker once i find one i like...which is seeming to be harder than i though. anybody know of any good online sources for small led's??

try partssystems.com i think thats where i got my taillights. they have a buttload of lights for semi trailers lights. as small as a 2" LED. Cheap ,too.
