it was all due becuase of flex and binding ishow. i was at full flex and got out to look at things when i saw it was tarring off..and saw the bind points,

to fix your gearing problem just put smaller tires on in the front yea...ill run on the rims anyways i gus got off the phone with rockkrawler, he said he never herd of that happing, and that my pinion agle could be to low. ill figur something out when i get the axle..and i asked about the stagered gearing, he said it wouldnt have mattered

it was a suggestion, you dont have to give me some stupid a** face for it, its a logical soultion as well... smaller tires designed for higher gearing, lower gearing designed for larger tires
you dont want the transfercase to bind man!! personally i would not wheel your tj right now, and take the front driveshaft out until you can match the gearing in the front, getting the new axle from your friend is a great idea, its the cheapest most logical way of matching gearing, beefen up those mounts and get some sort of limitation on the flex, you dont want to destroy something else with too much flex, like john mentioned, the driveshaft

other people who i know have ripped the stock mounts off their frt axles and it had nothing to do flex. it is called poorly manufactured lower control arm mounts aka, thin metalpos mounts. common issue with tj
and Yea running differne t gears frt and rr is just stupid! and are you still putting it in 4wd? man, you are asking for problems.
but hey, what do i know?

2g's to regear isnt that unreasonable 2 detroits $900 2 ring and pinions $300, 2 master install kits $200 $300/axle to regear, that adds up to 2g's....... just my .02

I luv math. ;D Oh, and yes, after I regeared and locked i had a stock LCA mount half tear off of my front axle, not from excessive flex.

So next time Bobby owns anyone money like $5 just add $300... it is his new math HAHA

900+ 300+ 200+ 600= 2000 What the hells wrong with my math? Maybe the estimated costs are a little off but I certainly added it up correctly
