OH ya one more thing, I would not exceed a 33/34" tire with the D35. a 15x8 rim would be your best bet with a 12.5" wide tire, a 13.5" wide tire willalso work on this rim. but anything over that is too much. I personlyy don't think a 15x10 rim is needed unless two things, your running a 37" tire or the width is over 13.5" a 15x10 will put more stress on you wheel bearings and will not allow for a good balloon effect when airing down as well, will be more prone to blowing a bead at less than 20 psi. so this tire 34x10.50-15LT, will fit a 15 x 8 inch rim and fit my tj pretty well with a 4 inch lift? And my dana 35 should ok running it?

Yes, as long as you use extended bump stops. If you do not, the tire might make contact with the fender.
That tire and wheel combo is accually a very good set up.

Ok good. thanks for the help and patience with me. Are extended bump stops somthing that usually comes with a lift kit or is it something I have to buy seperately?

most 4" lifts are pretty complete, with front and rear bumpstop extensions. There are two different types of bumpstop extensions for the front, ones that replace the factory bumpstop with a longer one, or the ones that act as a spring perch spacer. If you rub in front at full flex, you can just get the type of bumpstops that didnt come with the lift. or you could of couse get a 1" body lift, but you would be better off with the lower cog and longer bumpstops, especially with the high lift and skinny tires.

The rim and tire package im looking at here in this thread is a skinny tire? and what is a "cog" haha sorry guys. I'm learning at least. If it was lowering and putting fat thin tires on it, I could handle it.

most people think 10.5 inch tires are skinny, expecially when theyre 33"+, its still a WIDE tire but in jeep world, everyone seems to run wider tires..12.5ish, etc

Ok, well the company selling my lift kit said i might not be able to fit that wheel and tire combo. I think i'm going to chance it because you guys sound more like you know whats what. Lift kit and new shoes will be getting done asap. I'll snap some befor and after pics and post them up soon. Thanks for all the great help guys. Wish me luck! ;D

most lift manufactures' are very cautious about how large a tire you can fit. think about it, if they say a 34 will fit and it rubs at all you will be calling them complaining. they always cover their a#* the tire may not fit but it is a good combinationof height and width but keep in mind that it is an aggressive tire that is meant to be used for a "zero compromises attitude" and this is coming from somebody who runs boggers. i personnally think being that this is you're first rig to wheel with you should really think about doing a lift, armor, and get a tire that will work for the type of wheeling that you do. i built my xj specifically for the type of wheeling i do. this is what you need to figure out before you go and spend all this money. in other words you need to figure out how you will use your rig. there are many guys in this club who don't run extrememly aggressive tires (such as swampas) and they have no problems at all with the terrain that we run. you don't want to build a mallcruiser. just my .02

True Mr. God!! When I installed my lift I recall mocking the instructions before I threw them out cause it said "do not install any tire larger than 31" diameter" screw that, threw the 33's right on... and they rub.. but I never extended my bumpstops cause I want more flex! I personally could care less about the tires contacting the fender, nothing a hammer and dolly can't fix! or if it is bad enough... a sawzall!

go with the q,s they are the best tire ever made. hands down, theyre not a tsl, theyre q,s theyre not the same.i dont care if the website lists them as only a size under tsl, and its the only tire ive ever tried and they hack the s**t out of my fenders from rubbing my red xj....... oh wait i dont have a red xj. never mind. do what jeepgod said.

I've always gone with the theory that rubbing lets you know you didnt trim enough. But then again my jeep is a POS and I dont care about its fenders.
