Hey folks...i have a 95 Wrangler Rio grande when I hit the gas and go over 3000 rpm the engine studders. When I ease up on the gas she accelerates fine, this happens in every gear. any suggestions or help would be appreciated! thanx..... cisco

check your pugs..under a normal load it will seem ok, then when the load increases it will skip.

check your pugs..under a normal load it will seem ok, then when the load increases it will skip. im not sure it has anything to do with small ugly dogs, but when was the las time you tuned it up? plugs,wires,etc..

only had her about 8 months, gave her a full tune up about 2mths ago. I could live with that problem, but the day after i posted she stalled out on me at a stop light and will not start .....not getting any spark,changed the ignition coil and still wont start ........NEED HELP, miss my JEEP

what year is it...could be a TDC sensor...

check your crank position sensor

check plugs and wires first. my old 67 buick used to die when I punched it, turned out the whole engine was torquing, and one of the headers was touching the spark plug wire, and it melted the insulation away, and every time I dropped the hammer, the engine would torque again, and the plug wire would arc to the header instead of the plug ;D ok, enough with the story... your problem sound ignition related, clean/replace the plugs (if it is not your problem, who cares, now you have new plugs) replace the wires, then your cap and rotor, (same idea as plugs, even if it is not the problem, it is good to replace every so often) I personally don't think that it is a crank position sensor, etc., since it only happens at high RPMs, but I could be wrong, I usually am.

Yes but it'll be listed in the book as a CPS not TDC, is why i said it.

Last Sunday I was driving my jeep along like any other day, when I stopped at a light she stalled out on me. Battery's still giving juice ,starter's kickin over ,Motor's turning but will not run! Checked for spark in the distributor and nothing, so I changed the ignition coil and still nothing. Someone suggested replacing the camshaft position sensor, did so and still nothing... I have been told by a three different people that it could be my timing chain, Any ideas or suggestions would be great.
