id like some imput on running an underdrive in font of my tcase..with 1:1 4:1 and ill have the t case with the reg h and l rang. ~jay~

I assume that you mean something like the klune V model? Or are you refering to the 4.1:1 lo mod?

Forgot, The only draw back with this unit (klune) is that it will add some un-wanted length to your Drive line, a way to reverse this would be to convert to electric fan, and make up some custom Motor mounts and Tranny mounts and move your drivetrain foward as far as possible. But you have a I6 so that would only be a inch or two.

yes im talking about the klune V. i found a tech page with if instailed in a tj. the case was a dana 300. its a few inches shorted then my 231. they way it looks its gona have to wait till i get lifted with all the BS i need and do lockers n gears.

Do you have a 5spd, and is your jeep daily driven?
If you answered yes to those, I would look into swapping in a sm420 (1/2 ton) or sm 465 (3/4 ton) tranny from any 73-97 chevy pick up. Novak makes the adapter, and is pretty cheap (considering the prive of a Advan. adapter unit) and they will not add length to your driveline.
The sm trannys will be a normal 3 spd tranny (no over drive) but you have the ability to go into LO when off road (is tech 1 st gear, also refered to as granny gear) It is a very streetable tranny assuming that you don't drive 85+ mph cause you'll be at 3500 rpm's.
I will be doing this swap as soon as my AX15 shites the bed!
