what does everyone think about using a fiberglass tub, and bolting on crusher corners and rocker guards for protection?

sounds like a great. idea i have both of those on my cj. lots of bolts to destribute the force of an impact and the rocker knockers wrap around the bottom and tie into the body mounts. great set up, i dig it

Lke I said yesturday, might want to tie them into the roll bar some how on the interior just for a little added rigidity.

i'm scared of the thing just absalutely failing and falling apart when i get it the rocks and up against stuff....even with the armor.

i know a guy with a cj5 with a glass tub i have seen him roll almost everytime we went 4wheeling (since 1998) he hasen't cracked it yet, lots of scuffing and scraps but no cracks

fiberglass has a little more give to it than steel.

Would think repairing any damage would be easier & quicker on a fiberglass tub versus steel.
