With 4.5 inches of lift on my XJ, and more planned for the future, I think its time for the addition of a SYE kit and CV drive shaft.
Im thinking about getting the Advanced Adapter SYE & Tom Wood CV Driveshaft combo from Rusty's. Anybody have any opinions on this set of equipment? I think its a pretty good price and from what iv read top quality stuff. Let me know if youv heard otherwise. Secondly if i do this im going to need a hand instaling this stuff. Anybody have any experiance doing the same type of install? Any help I could get would be awsome!

I have had one for quite a while, the best mod I have ever installed! EVER! (and I have OBA, big lift, tires, 1 ton axles etc..... Best)
The only down side to this kit is the $$$ Other than that, all benefits!
Better Break over angle (big one for me) Better drive shaft angle Virtually no vibes Better acceleration The new out put shaft is a lot larger and stronger than the Slip Yoke Save money in the long run cause you won't have to replace the U-joints every 5 months!

Yeah its deff time, i have driveline vibes, and the rear leaf springs (skyjacker soft rides) and about 4 years old and are getting tired. I want to replace them with Rubicon Express leaves. I know if i put brand new, truly 4.5 inch springs i will have a problem when flexing on the trail. Ill deff give you a call if i run into any problems installing. thanks

I have installed a couple of these, the directions are pretty easy to read, but Pick up a set of Heavey Duty Snap ring pliers! Not those cheap autozone napa thingy's They won't cut it, I broke two pair trying to get the snap rings off. You need to use the MAC or Snapon Heavey duty snap ring pliers. other than that, everything will be super easy!
Also, spend the extra 1/2 hour and take the Tcase out, It will save two hours in labor!
