I have an opportunity to get an 8.8 and d30 with 4.10s. Anyone with 4.10s have any experience with regards to on-road manners? I have to do a lot of 6+hour trips soon.....need best of both worlds. (I'm on 32's with the 4.0L) Thanks.

thats similiar to the Rubi setup. They run 4.10's w/ 31's from the factory.

better acceleration, less stress on the drivetrain components, better crawl ratios.
Downs are that at high way speed your rpm's will be higher in 5th gear, so your gas milage will go down, but it will go down to where it was close to factory.

i couldn't agree more with what everbody else has said, but the ironic thing is that with 4.88's and 35's i get better gas milage than i did with 3.73's and 32's or 30's. im getting my best gas milage since it rolled off the lot.
you will love them.
