WEll last night I was driving home and the voltmeter spiked for about 30 mins then went back to normal, i got up today and it wouldn't start. Had to jump it. I don't drive it very often I'm a long haul driver, but about 5 months ago my dad replaced the battery and the cables got hooked up wrong and it fried the wiring harness that comes out of the fuse box under the hood. He replaced that but I've been noticing small electrical glitches here and there. Sometimes when i roll my windows all the way up and hold the switch for a second to long the headlights will get really bright. my brake lights also come on sometimes and stay on, im assuming thats a sensor. But my aftermarket radio doesnt work, probably the inline fuse got blown when the battery got hooked up, and my CB also doesn't work anymore.
Any ideas post em up.
Update, Day 2 dead again, can't even jump it, I'm not getting anything when I turn the key with a charger hooked up to it...

I would look for bad fuses and replace them, thats a cheap first step...
Second, you might have damaged the power regulator.. Which could be a bad thing, if its like TJ's and located in your ECU.
Im a noob still, but these are my guesses.

mine did that to. it was a loose cable to the battery post. for me anyway. so check your pos/neg cables on your battery first. make sure thier tight.

there are a few fusable links by the starter RELAY-not the selenoid. check those out. check your alt make sure its charging and then check the battery make sure its getting the charge. if not its most likely one of those links. i had mine blow and the same thing happened to me, but it would hold a connection sometimes if you held it right or squeezed it the right way. i checked it a couple times the first 2 times it checked fine and then i caught it loosing its connection, and thats what it was.

Yeah I have a feeling it's the fueable link at the fue box, someone replaced my battery and it went it wrong and fried that awhile back, when it got replaced it was a custom job because the part was I think almost 200 bucks.
But I'm not home right now which sucks, I wont be home til June and won't have a ton of time to trouble shoot it, hopefully I can find the problem real quick..I'm think it was the same fuse/wire harness.
When I get home if it's not fixed yet I'm going to check all the connections first and then start replacing all the relays...hopefully it will be something that simple.
