Does anyone have a firmness comparison chart for shocks?
I'm trying to determine which shocks to get when I do my lift in a couple months and I need something that's really soft for the road and decent for the trails.

this is a soft shock Anything nitrogen charged would be a soft budget shock.

there's usually a comparison chart in the back of Quadratec. I like the OME's myself. The hecklethorns that came with my RK kit are very firm.

what springs will you be running?? brand and lift height. cause all that plays a roll in the way your jeep will feel and handle.
my very soft 3" BDS springs coupled with dt3000's which are also soft made for a very bouncy and harsh ride on road but smooth and very tipy offroad.
my hard 4.5" RE springs couple with their firm RE monotubes is just all around "stinky stuff"ty. offroad the shocks do allow plenty of travel and sit nicely in offcamber situations.
idealy with my RE springs I want either the bilstein 5150's or the OME long travels. But the OME's are just a tad too short which im not too fond of cause i don't want my shocks the limiting factor on down travel. In a perfect word though Id go with the new Walker Eveans remote resevoirs or fox shocks...but those are way more than i want to spend on shocks.

i like my rancho rs9000x's. and they are 9way adustable. so you can change them from softer to harder, for street or offroad. the best of both worlds
