You live down in RI right. I know that the wrecking yard near my house has a bunch of XJ's with D30 front ends just sitting around. Might be able to make a deal.as for brakes, I can help you with those.

Okay well I might have exaggerated a little.... I think I need a new universal and an alignment but to tell you the truth I haven’t looked under the jeep yet! I'm scared at what I might find! I was out wheeling in a sand pit the other day and I was going up a hill in some soft sand when I started to dig then there was this BAD noise coming from my passenger front tire when I started to spin um! I'm hoping that its just my Universal but like all things its probably not and its going to be expensive.

Sounds like a CV joint. (similar to a u-joint) they are not too hard to replace, accually easy, but time consuming. I had to do my "future-father-in-laws" 98 ram last summer. took about a day. he also had a D60 in that beast, never had to do a D30 yet (knock on wood.) If you need new rotors, I have a old set, I can see if my friend will resurface them, you can have them for cheap cash (like the price of a 12 pack) I will see if i still have them.

I'm looking forward to riding with you to Laura! And the whole crew! I just need to stop breaking stuff on my jeep! Its funny everytime when I'm ready to go on a ride with you guys I'm being shipped over seas, or the weather is bad and no one is going, OR SOMETHING BREAKS!!! So I'm really hoping to get everything all set for April so I can go wheeling with the group! I'm not to worried about the front end I think I can have that fixed and breaks AHH who needs um you can always stop "flinstone style" I think the only thing that is going to hold me back is not having a rear tow point! See I was thinking of getting a trailer "thingy" as a rear recovery point so I can go wheeling with you guys but It would be like $200 bucks!!! And the bumper I want is like $700 but it comes with everything under the sun and can be used as a recovery point so I just might have to wait to get the money so I can get that thing OR just break down and waist the two hundred so I can go wheeling with you guys! ....WHAT TO DO? ? Anyway ROTORS!!! I Could definitely use some new Rotors! ...I think LOL!! Anyway if you still have them and can get them turned Ill buy a case of beer and drink it with ya instead of just a 12 pack! ...or give you money what ever is better! maybe if I ever get my a** up to a Ride we can do the exchange there!

I'm not to sure where you've been looking for trailer hitches to use as for your rear tow point but I just scored one of ebay for my ZJ for like 65 bucks, mounted it up last weekend, just waiting on my reciever shackle now.
