well i have a set of 31" claws that i am going to put on in a day or so. let us know how that one works out. I doubt a claw radial or bias is going to ride much better then your ltbs.

skip the claws....put on a narrow all terrain style tread, run em at max psi, change to synthetic fluids, and cgange your driving style...

me thinks that 31x10.5 BFG ATs would be your best bet. even on a 4cyl YJ they feel pretty light.

regear cost 460 bucks total, both axles for me if your gonna have a shop do it, expect to pay over a grand it makes it a lot better to drive, but gas mileage still sucks...you will not get good mileage out of a cherokee no matter what you do (doing all those "performance" mods is a complete waste of your money) honestly, if you are gettting upset about mileage, sell your jeep, you have already said that you hate driving it and want a car dont be depressed about it not selling, you were asking way too much...ask a fair price for it and it will sell, you can buy yourself a car, and you will be much happier than if you sink another thousand dollars into your crap axles and then decide to sell the jeep again 460? you did your own install? i'll be over soon so you can help me then.

I paid $1400 for all the parts for my axles. 2 set of gears, 2 detroits, 2 master install kits, new inner outer wheel bearings and seals for front, bearings and seals for rear. and there was no labor, technically I did the ring adn pinion install with a friend, who knew what he was doing a lot better than myself, everything else I did.
