on the topic, i see no difference between bluerockets aussie in the front and my lockright in the front...same thing essientally
i say spool it in the rear (better than autolocker...way more predictable) and through a lunch box in the front and be done with it

Its funny how people talk about the aussie being a different type of locker. Its a lunchbox locker made by the aussie company. nearly identical in design to any other lunchbox locker.

Well your confusing me with this front locker talk YOur now saying you dont want a detroit in the font because some guy said they are bad in the snow?? But you no want an Aussie?? I hope thats not what the guy suggested... Its ok for you to say, i cant afford a detroit so i might have to go with an Aussie

2000, you have talked about ALOT of stuff you are going to do and none of it has come about. i think the agitation comes from the shear amount of times you say "i'm gonna do this and that".
ayoung's issues are really quite ligament. sorry to be a jerk but it is a fact.
and, honestly get your axles geared the way you want them done. don't listen to anyone when it comes to this stuff. this your jeep and if you want detroits frt and rr do it. if you want aussie's frt and rr then do it. just do something. i have driven on the street with detroits in the frt in winter and with a lock-right in the frt in the winter. does it make it a little more difficult to handle?yes, but can you handle it? yes. its all about learning how to drive for conditions.
now move along, and get it done

I think this thread is funny, BUT what Todd said sounds right. What are you going to get for gears, 4.10 or 4.56?

jeeps suck on gas no matter what you do, you bought a cherokee, its shaped like a brick. then put lift and tires... nothing you do will get you gas mileage, when building a jeep gas is the last thing trhought of, everything you do to make it work off road cancels out gas mileage. performance mods are nice, but minimal, i just did the exhaust on my k10 over( flowmaster original 2 chambers and new pipes) went from 12 mpg to about 5mpg cant keep the pedal off the floor now. sell your jeep, buy a civic www.civicforums.com/
