Sad News...

Most of you know my friend Gina (the girl that usually comes with me on trail rides)

Well, I just heard her brother (Tony) has passed away at 34 years old. Now, Gina is my best friend in the whole wide world. We always joke that if her or I were to be a boy, we would be together. Gina and I have been friend for over 10 years and her brother had moved to Vegas almost 4 years ago. He leaves behind a wife, an 8 y/o son Kenji, and a 13 y/o daughter Stephenie. Along with his father, his mother, my friend Gina, and her 2 sisters Joanna, and Cindy. They also have a younger 1/2 brother Marc.

I am most affected by this death because of the pain Gina feels.

Tony went into the hospital almost 3 weeks ago from drugs(Crystal Myth)...he had always had heart problems and the CM, aggrivated it. I'm not completly sure of the details, but he had surgery, and was doing good for a while. Gina flew to Vegas last Wednesday to see him, and the Dr.'s said they expected him to be out of the Hospital by today.

The point of this post isn't for sympathy. But more for the remberance of Tony, and my love for Gina. She reads this board, and is very aware of the kindness of Jeepers...as she said "I want a Jeep, because the people are so nice."

I am SURE all of you will meet Gina one day or another.

She had asked that I say a prayer for her brother, and her saying that to me is a sure sign that she doesnt know where to turn.

Gina, when you read this..I want you to know, I love you, and as you know how I feel about death, I don't know what to say..and I hope my presence is soothing for you, as yours was when my dad died just a few years ago. I am so lucky to have a friend like you, and I am grateful for all the time we spend together, in times like these I cannot help but to remember all the laughs we share (you know that's the only thing we do). You and your brother will be in my thoughs, and I can't wait until you get home.

Im sorry to hear of the passing. Just remember that we are here if you ever need someone to hang with. Any friend of Lauras is a friend of mine.

Thanks Neal. That's why I posted it here...I guess a place to talk whereI feel comfortable..although some of us have just met.

Anywho..I'll chauk it up to being a girl, ya know talk about your emotions..maybe it's to personal. I hope nobody has been offended by this post. Or found it to be out of line.

The loss of a friend, or even someone who is close to a friend can be very hard.

Your friend will find solace in your message and thoughts to her. It was very well expressed. You should know that you probably helped her just by writing that.

Anyone would be lucky to have people around who care so much.

I'm sorry to hear about your friends loss,it's always tough to loose someone so close, but with a friend like you I'm sure she'll pull through it just fine.
