Awesome product, get some good battery terminals too, theyre like 150 bucks for the 34/74 top and side post battery, it makes my stereo hit toooo hard and too loud!
no dimming lights, no problems idiling with the stereo up and offroad lights on, its an excellent product!

my die hard died hard! the optima is insane power!
Optimas website:
THE YELLOW TOP OPTIMA BATTERY lasts two to three times longer than conventional batteries. Optima Battery engineers have used high purity lead design provides a much longer shelf life, meaning THE YELLOW TOP OPTIMA BATTERY can sit unused for up to one year and still start your vehicle.
i got the 6 year replacement thing too, dont worry bout it:)

I can vouch for the Yellow Top too, it is a great product!! I have had one in my YJ for 3 years now and for the past three winters my Jeep was in storage from October till May. The Jeep started right up in the spring as if it had only been parked for 5 minutes, not five months! Also, summer days on the beach I have had the stereo cranking all day and still plenty of power to start right up come night fall.

red = starting battery (high Cold cranking amps)
yellow = deep cycle (stereos, lights, winching)
blue = marine

The blue top also comes in two forms. There is a light frey and a dark grey one. Both are deep cycle; one is dual purpose, the other isn't.

I got a red top in my YJ and I love it,jeep starts on the coldest days and does not seem to be affected by running my lights.When I eventually set up dual batteries i am gonna get a yellow for winching,I also plan to put a blue top in my boat.

the only thing with a gell cell battery is you do not want to use a trickle charger or put the chargers on low when charging it, because they arent vented and will blow up. otherwise they are GREAT i had my alternator die on me and i drove to and from work two days without a charging system, granted i only drive 8 miles to work and 8 back. But i didnt notice what had happened till it died on me on the way home the second day. luckily it died on halloween night in front of salem state north campus! thankfully french maids, dominatrixs, and schoolgirls are very popular with that crowd. lol

my optima is about 8 years old, still starts the jeep, been in 3 vehicles. it is starting to get a little tired, winch won't work when cold out.
