I don't think anyone has started a thread on the new Wrangler. What does everyone think of the 2dr and 4dr versions??

i seen the new wrangler today at the rally. i must say it just doesn't do it for me. i don't like it. i think its going in the wrong direction imho. but then again ive been disappointed with the way jeep has been going since mercedes took over. who gets rid of one of the historically best engines ever (4.0). MERCEDES that who. what they weren't making enough money on service?

I saw a couple in Nashville this weekend and they aren't that bad. The 4 door is pretty sweet, but not offroad sweet. The 2 door isn't my cup-of-tea, but it's still pretty nice.

I think I will hold my reserve till I see one in action. To just say, it looks like a something so it must be crap is just that, crap. when Geo's and Zukies were new, they were not well recieved at first, now they are very popular with the offroad community. Any 4wd Vehicle with the right mods can be made to be very stout in an offroad situation.
